open up my Graco trucoat Pro 2 cordless air sprayer 20 volt cordless model of course they make several different models of these ranging from the corded to the 18 volt to the 20 volt to this one here by my thumb that retails for  I think no idea what makes it worth is what they quoted me originally on this one and then I got a hold of my rep at PPG and I’m not even going to tell you what what he gave it to me for so yeah anyway I’m getting ready to unbox this thing the first thing I’m gonna notice about it yep really like that kind guys really like that time yes as made in USA with global components so basically everything else is made overseas but at least they’re assembling it here and keeping American workers busy so yeah that’s always a good thing and I also noticed here it says that it’s got the next generation in pro-spray technology no idea what that means but it can’t be a bad thing right so yeah let’s open this thing up and see what we got in here pretty heavy-duty case it’s got the metal latches on it there yep seems pretty heavy-duty I like it of course just about everything very code is pretty heavy-duty and here’s Dean to see the new toy say hey Dean hey D then yeah everything’s packaged in here real nice and neat comes with everything you need is that it’s got a five fifteen spray tip on it which is gonna be just fine I’m gonna be using water based products here at the library I don’t want to be shootin anything that’s gonna you know cause somebody to pass out or whatever it comes with a bottle of your cleaning fluid or I guess it’s not cleaning fluid it’s storage fluid once you clean it out you mix this with water and put it in there too and if you’ll notice it’s actually got some in it from the factory so if you can see those blue dots on there or not but yeah that’s what that stuff is is where they’ve got it treated from the factory just basically keeps everything from rusting and keeps all the seals moist and all that good stuff comes with your charger it’s got a battery attached to it pretty feels pretty good in the hand weighs probably I don’t know five six pounds seven eight pounds maybe I don’t know but yeah it feels pretty good in the hand pretty balanced I mean it’s it’s a little little heavy toward the back side right now but I think once you get some pain in there it’ll be real evenly balanced real nice looking unit got a metallic blue paint job on it oh I’m back about 25 years ago I had a 73 Monte Carlo that was that exact same color set that aside and see what else we have here of course you’ve got an extra battery you’ve got a lid for the cup I really like that that way you don’t have to empty out the cup if you’re going to come back after lunch or whatever is that’s the cord to the charger comes of the cd-rom I guess that you’re maybe some instructions or something on CD yeah operational DVD and then a pro stencil hmm I’m gonna have to open that up and see what that is okay apparently the pro stencil is just one of the models that they make because this is just the warranty and information card which I probably won’t even send that in being us that I bought it for the library it’s probably not going to fall under any sort of warranty anyway but I will send that over to the people that do all the paperwork and and see if they want to send that in it came with obviously a catalog for the accessories that they want to sell you and it does have some good accessories it looks like course you can buy extra spray tips and an extra charger and extra batteries and your cups and liners and some apparatus to shoot ceilings or a bendy front there so you can you know shoot around corners I guess and of course you can buy an extra case for it I don’t know why you’d need an extra case unless you damage the one you’ve got it’s got a portable backpack that you can buy where you can looks like maybe you can wear the paint on your back spray via the hose and then of course your various filters and liquids and so forth of course it comes with your QuickStart guide in multiple languages and your regular instruction manual also in various languages and then a card that you’re supposed to carry in your wallet with a note to the physician yeah guys one thing I’m gonna note about airless sprayer it might look a lot like a regular HVLP or a air-powered type you know like a cup gun compressed air type sprayer these things here shoot the paint they don’t use air they basically push paint with paint at about 3,000 to 3,500 psi the paint that’s coming out of here if you do the old-school no back when I was painting trucks and stuff I used to test the fan on my hand you know out of my HVLP or my compressed air cup gun you do that with one of these it’s gonna inject that paint right directly into your skin it will break the skin instantly getting into your bloodstream yeah not a pretty deal so yeah these are pretty dangerous like I said about 3000 3500 psi versus a regular HVLP which is oh I don’t know what like 30 to 50 psi maybe you know at maximum 100 psi is which are going to be spraying with an HVLP this here is HP HP high volume high pressure so yeah it’s you want to stay out of the way of the fan of it for sure while you’re using it but anyway on closer inspection of the unit here you’ll see that it’s got a speed control I’m not sure if that’s a speed control or a pressure control or what it is I haven’t read the instructions yet but it goes from 1 to 10 there this here I do know is the primer you pop that open and hit the trigger a little bit to prime it with paint before you start shooting flip it back over and then it’s ready to shoot paint basically all that does is that it bypasses the tip it sucks the paint up and fills everything up in here and just shoots the paint back into the cup until you close that valve off and then it sends the paint from the cup out the tip just Prime’s the gun gets everything ready to shoot so you’re not blasting air your first couple a couple of trigger squeezes there so anyway guys that’s the unboxing of it I’m not sure when I’m going to get that thing fired up and get it to use the first project I’ve got to use it on is still in its primal stages we’ll call it so yeah once I get these pedestals built get that thing filled with primer I will turn on the camera and we’ll show you how that I hope you will be able to choose the best product for your needs.
